So, what should you be drinking?
+Water. You’ll burn more calories and boost overall energy and concentration. Keep a pitcher by your bed and at your desk, and you’ll drink up naturally.
+Coffee. But not the sweet, syrupy specialty drinks. Coffee can rev up your metabolism in moderation, but gourmet coffee drinkers consume 206 more calories on average than folks who drink regular joe.
+Tea. It not only contains antioxidants that may help protect against heart disease and cancer, but also is nearly calorie free, as long as you don’t fall for the sugary kind.
+Milk. About 73 percent of the calcium in the American food supply comes from dairy foods, and calcium is critical for fending off weight gain and keeping bones and muscles healthy. Most people leave their grocery shopping for Saturday or Sunday mornings, when the supermarket looks more like a ravaged battlefield than a center of commerce. Consider making midweek evening runs, instead. According to Progressive Grocer, only 11 percent of Americans shop on Wednesdays, and on any given day, only 4 percent shop after 9:00 p.m. So if you’re shopping at, say, 9:00 p.m. on a Wednesday, you’re able to get in and out quickly, which means you’ll spend less time fighting impulse items in both the aisles and at the checkout line. As a bonus, you’ll free up your Saturday morning for something more enjoyable, like cooking a healthy breakfast.”
I’m Meredith. And I tried it all.
Atkins, Southbeach, Nutrisystem, Weight watchers, Jenny Craig.
And I even listened to that silly baseball guy who talked about the shakes on TV for all those years.
And yet, since I had first daughter at 28, I haven’t been able to lose any weight…
Well, maybe a few pounds for a little while but then it all comes roaring back when I stop whatever gimmick I’m on that month.
You should’ve seen me in my college days. I was tall, slim and had been blessed by the good lord with an hourglass figure that always turned heads.
Hey, it’s how I attracted my husband Tom!
But after Andrea was born… I couldn’t get back down to my normal 130. I’m 5 foot 7, and that was always a great weight on me.
Yet I’ve spent the better part of 20 years pushing 220 pounds.
Then one sleepless night, I stumbled on a health segment on MSNBC…
Featuring Sam Hansen, a regular middle-aged Chicago-native who’d spent two years finding a weight loss solution that helped his overweight wife Angela finally lose 72 pounds.
The biggest revelation from Sam was that women in their 30s, 40s and even 50s don’t lose weight and are getting increasingly larger not because of junk food and lazy lifestyles as we’ve been constantly told by health professionals and gurus.
Instead, the latest research has found that overweight patients have one deeply disturbing thing in common —weak leptin receptors.
As you probably already know, leptin is a hormone that is released from your fat cells that signals your brain to stop eating once your body has accumulated enough fat from whatever you’re eating.
And leptin receptor is the brain molecule that delivers that signal from your stomach to your brain.
But with weak leptin receptors, the leptin signals don’t reach your brain, and thus your brain doesn’t get the message that you’re full.
So, you continue to feel hungry and keep eating until it becomes a vicious cycle.
In other words, your brain is starved, while your body is obese.
So, no matter how much you work yourself to death in the gym or restrict your diet as much as you want, weak leptin receptors make absolutely certain you never lose an ounce of fat.
At that moment, it dawned on me that it wasn’t my fault that I could not lose weight.
All of the things I thought I was doing right, all the advice I’d receive from health professionals – starving myself, running until I ached, eliminating carbs, yadda, yadda, yadda — they weren’t really helping me because I wasn’t fixing the root cause of weight gain.
All that time and effort, not to mention thousands of dollars down the drain because I was fed lies by these so call health professionals who merely helped me treat and mask the weight gain “symptoms”, while all this time, weak leptin receptors was making me gain more and more weight.
Can you believe that?
Sam continued to explain that by following a simple 5-second “Samurai ritual”, no matter your age, shape or size, you can effectively strengthen your leptin receptors, banish hunger and prevent overeating and burn stubborn fat.
Despite Sam showing a “before” picture and an “after” picture of his wife Angela from a couple of months ago, I was skeptical about the 5-second “Samurai ritual.”
But I owed it to myself to at least give this morning trigger a try.
And really, I was desperate to try anything.
You won’t believe what happened next!
In a single week, I lost 9 pounds and could really see the difference right away. My hips seemed slimmer and my jeans started to loosen up.
So I kept following Sam’s advice and I actually lost 67 pounds total in the next 5 months!
I’m not down to 130, but at my age and for my height, I think 145 is pretty darn good.
I look amazing in a sun dress and I feel 20 years younger… and to tell a bit of a secret… Tom can’t keep his hands off me!
Since then, I have found out that Sam made it his mission in life to share this healthy weight loss discovery with women all across the world.
Sam’s discovery has made such a big impact on my life that I would regret it if I did not share his presentation with others.
Imagine waking up every morning full of energy and loving what you see in the mirror…
Imagine enjoying the foods you love: pasta, wine, or even a dessert — completely guilt-free…
And imagine feeling good and living your life without obsessing about every single calorie you eat…
All while knowing your health is being protected by one of the most powerful natural healing rituals ever discovered.
If you’re a woman who has struggled with weight loss, you owe it to yourself to watch Sam’s presentation and finally have the solution you need to lose weight and take full control of your life once and for all.
The consequences would have been disastrous had I not have stumbled across Sam’s discovery.
I would never be living the life of my dreams right now.
And I would have continued to gain more weight and be inundated with a whole set of chronic diseases including heart-attacks, diabetes and chronic joint pains.
